Description
The TAIGTurn 4019 CNC Lathe is a top-of-the-line desktop CNC lathe. It is a very rigid and precise machine that uses some of the most advanced techniques to produce parts that used to require machines costing thousands of dollars more. With a rapid feed of up to 100 inches per minute, you can go from tool to tool in just seconds.
A key feature of the CNC Lathe is the ability to single point thread. This is accomplished using a “Digital Index Signal Processor” which was designed by Microproto Systems.
The main frame consists of a 2-1/2 inch square steel tubing, which provides a very solid feel. The Ballscrews are all 12mm x 2.5mm ball screws, unlike a lot of similarly-sized machines that use 1/4-inch lead screws.
The moving slides ride on ground steel ways with full gib adjustments for wear as the years of use go by. Overall working accuracy should exceed .0005 with the Ballscrews with virtually no backlash.
All machines are sold with a 14-day refund and a full 2-year factory warranty on all lathe components and accessories.
